Kicking off the season with an incredible start — and lots of riders stepping up to new levels! 🌟
Despite lots of rain making the weekend a challenge, everyone rode through it and came away with great remarks and strong performances.
Amber and I tackled the Grand Prix, earning a 61%, and Meadow the Super Pony delivered a lovely first PSG test with a 64%.
Kindred and Happy debuted Third Level in 3-1 and 3-3, scoring above 60% while working toward her Bronze Medal!
Amelia and Randy Moss debuted First-3 with a personal best of 67% and are now eligible to work toward a First Level Freestyle.
Audrey and Yo-Yo also debuted First-3, earning scores toward Regionals.
Ava and Oksana moved up to Second-1 and secured their Second Level scores toward their Bronze both days!
Morgan and Marilyn also stepped up to Second-1, earning their qualifying scores and finishing with a huge 70% on their final ride together!
Sharon and Moo sat this one out, but we’re hoping to see them back in action at the next show.
Theresa and Guapi, Carol and Stella, and Abby and Versailles joined as guest horses, gaining valuable show experience and having a great time.
We also had many riders recognized with year-end awards at the SCDCTA Year-End Awards Banquet — we’ll make a separate post about that soon. Many congratulations to all who were honored!
