Ritz debuted at Third Level Test 1 and received two respectable scores in the low and high 60’s with very tight judging for the weekend. Scott Hassler Clinic
The single changes are confirmed and starting canter half-pass, as well as, exercises to increase the collection in the walk, trot, and canter. Ritz showed much progress from the last clinic in June where we were still figuring out the change aid and were throwing changes left and right including strings of 1 Tempis!
Newest Member of the Team!
Meet Phoenix! He is a 2022 Gypsy Vanner colt owned by Sharon Katz and comes from Gypsy Gold Farm in Florida. He carries The Gypsy King lines and will continue his legacy as a future dressage prospect and will stand as a Stallion at Gypsy Gold. His name on record will be ‘Bils Legacy’ in honor of Sharon’s 17yo Gypsy Vanner and heart horse, Billie.

Stableview Dressage Show
Alhambra earned two scores – 60% and 63% – at Intermediare I at our first time out. She was so good, had a few green moments at the new level, but she tries her heart out! She continues to surprise me on what she can do! Go Amber!
Tryon Dressage Show
Bucky killed the Dressage Pony Classes at the Tryon Summer Show with scores in the 70s. Only his second show but acted like he’s done this his whole life. From kill-pen to show pony, I’d love to see this guy in DSE or Children’s Pony Classes one day! Terri Seignious also cleaned up with her GRP Beringer braving the heat and getting the rest of her scores towards All-Breeds and Year End!
Spring Fling Dressage – High Point Musical Freestyle/Silver Freestyle Bar
Alhambra won High Point Musical Freestyle with her ‘Dancing Queen’ 4th Level Freestyle and got our remaining two scores for our Silver Freestyle Bar!
Laura Graves Clinic
Lots of take-aways from the Laura Graves Clinic in Fletcher, NC last month. Groundwork and basics are so important! Grateful to have such an amazing learning opportunity!
Lowcountry Dressage Classic
Congratulations to Simone Rogge, qualifying for First Level with a high of 70% and two scores towards her Bronze medal! Bucky also did extremely well at his first dressage show, scored high of 69%, qualifying for Regional Championships, the Jovee Pony championships and won both of his classes on Saturday. Beringer also won all of his classes with a high of 72% with Terri Seignious and this was their first show together. Alhambra 67% on 4th FS with two qualifying scores and two scores towards Silver Freestyle Bar. Ritz 68% and won both of his Second Level classes and threw in a change or two (Third Level here we come). Leila Cuthbertson solid 65% on Training Level and two qualifying scores for Regionals with some of her personal best rides. Way to go!! USDF Horse of the Year – Res. Champion
Ritz won the USDF Horse of the Year Award – Reserve Champion for Training Level with a 76.724% out of 427 eligible horses. He will be mentioned in the USDF Annual Awards Ceremony, which will be held virtually on Sat, Jan 22 at 6:30pm.
